Damn to hell the curators of the left wing echo chambers and gate keepers of ideological purity
After eight years of stewing in left wing echo chambers many young lefties are unable to face reality. Many are choosing suicide.
I would be one of the first people to tell you that we should have no respect, sympathy for or decency towards the collective left. They as a movement aren’t just wrong, they are evil. When the Marxist movement in this country howls in pain we should double down harder and utterly break them politically. Politically we should be absolutely vicious to the left as a collective. We should every day be carrying out an aggressive political strategy and implementing policy that makes them yowl in horror and then we should do it some more and dare them to stop us. For good reason, the days of the right being the “better man” or trying to preserve some long lost sense of civility by preemptively surrendering because the left will file a lawsuit are over and they should never come back. They’ve done no less to us for a long time now. When they had power they did whatever the fuck they wanted and then dared us to stop them. Preemptive surrender should never again be seen as a virtue on the right. At the very least we should be making the left put up the fight. We should be making them file the lawsuits and spend money on the lawfare to try and prevent our agenda. We’ve had a good start since Election Day. The election results were so hard on the left that many of the pillars of the left as a movement have been utterly broken. That energy has continued apace since Election Day. President Trump has been slow rolling his cabinet pick announcements to leftist howls and crying and gnashing of teeth, only to be followed by another announcement and yet another wave of tears. This is good, this is how the right should fight. We should keep the left on their heels, on the defensive and reacting to us, not the other way around. The simple fact of the matter is that in politics the moment we are reacting to them, their narratives and their actions, we are losing. We should keep swinging and never allow them a moment to take a breath. It really is that simple and we should condition this new center right coalition to scold defeatism and to expect victory, to demand victory and reward it when it comes.
That said, as a collective I may have no sympathy for the left, but when it comes to these young people who since election night have been committing suicide because of the election results I do have to say something for. There’s many reasons I feel I do have to speak up about this. The primary reason is that after I returned home from Iraq I had my own experience with being on the brink and spending days on end considering that dark option. Fortunately I survived that. I got help, my life improved and I have moved on as best I could. However because of that I do feel for these young people. They have their whole lives ahead of them yet. There is no hard number or estimate of how many of these suicides have occurred. This is a topic that the “mainstream media” hasn’t really picked up, probably because it’s a very bad look for the left. However between the psychotic homicidal posts on social media from left wing young people, the blurbs I’ve seen in local news outlets, posts I’ve seen online of suicides and suicidal ideation its pretty obvious that post election this country is likely facing the largest mental health crisis we have probably ever seen. I’ve seen many posts indicating that the night of the election the national suicide prevention hotline was overwhelmed with the call volume it received.
It’s only partially these young people’s fault that they have become so ensconced into this radical left wing ideology that has sucked the hope from their lives and conditioned them to believe that life in this country is such a fearful and dark place. I believe it’s a cop out and easy to say that these young people could have left these echo chambers at any point of their own volition. I truly believe most of the fault for this tragedy and mental health crisis lies with those Marxist bastards in education, the legacy media, social media influencers and the tech industry that brain washed these young people into a false reality. These people were likely very young and politically uninvolved and politically ignorant when the political foundation of their life was laid down. The left and democrat party after losing the 2016 election, instead of engaging in self reflection and introspection in order to address the issues that made their platform unappealing to voters decided instead to double down and that they could only win if they had total control over the national narrative. The party, instead of changing for the better, doubled down on its worst traits and simply purged the voices of anyone who spoke up in opposition to their platform. You were either with them or against them. No nuance or disagreement allowed. They brutally sought to become the only narrative within not only the United States but within all western nations. Because of this decision most of these young people grew up in a world being told by this country’s Educational institutions, legacy media echo chambers and the the social media they consumed online that not all lefties were good people but all the bad people were right wing fascists. Throughout most of their teenage and early adult life they were taught that anyone to the right of MSNBC was a racist, fascist, misogynist, homophobe and nazi and that Donald Trump himself was the personification of Hitler, Mussolini and all the world’s worst dictators. That “Trump’s followers” were evil subhuman cultists akin to the orcs of Middle Earth that existed with the sole desire to oppress them and hurt them. They were told that if the evil orange nazi were ever to return to power it would be the end of their country and the very next day that Trump’s fascist white orcs would be goose stepping down Main Street and the trains to the concentration camps would begin rolling down the tracks. Sure these kids could have left these echo chambers and learned the truth for themselves. But instead they did what most patriotic young people do, they trusted their teachers and professors, they trusted the adults in their life, the people on television and this nation’s institutions. In short they trusted their government and this nation’s institutions to tell them what was right. They trusted that their nation wouldn’t lie to them. Subsequently they became good, obedient lefties ready to “vote blue no matter who” and fight the “fascists” for the good of the nation. Then, Election Day 2024 showed up and they were excited for what they thought would be an easy victory. The “bigots”, MAGAts and Chuds would be handily defeated and they’d celebrate. Instead they got thrown into the deep end of the pool that is reality. They found out that despite everything they’d been told, that despite the carefully curated echo chambers and slick corporate propaganda on television that this nation’s politics was so much more nuanced and tends to alternate between center left and center right. Some of these young people getting this harsh introduction to the deep end of reality simply couldn’t tread water and that’s the mental health crisis we are seeing today. I’ll be honest. I think the 2024 election was exactly what this country needed after nearly a decade of the left dictating reality through brutal censorship and carefully curated echo chambers. It was a jagged pill that this country needed in order to heal the damage the left has done to our nation because a decisive and humiliating Trump victory despite all the propaganda and wisdom from the echo chambers was the only thing that could break through the robust networks of corporate propaganda and meticulously curated echo chambers the left had created to protect their power.
Generally most of the people who read my musings have a pretty good idea how we got here. How our education system became an indoctrination system. How after Donald Trump’s election victory in 2016 tech companies, media and social media empires either embraced a brutal censorship regime in cooperation with US government agencies or were bullied by the US government into doing so. That television networks and legacy media couldn’t be trusted to speak a morsel of truth for a long, long time now. How the business of our government became propagating left wing ideology. However the bigger question is what can be done to leverage this decisive victory to end this? What can be done to restore the free speech and healthy debate and politically neutral government institutions that a healthy and vibrant republic and its democratic processes requires and demands?
First and foremost I’d say that this post election mental health disaster is probably the largest example of why as a parent you shouldn’t expect the education system, entertainment and social media to babysit your children and that there’s no substitute for good and present parenting.
That said the most important thing we can do right now is to not allow the left to retreat into new echo chambers. Since Kamala’s defeat on Election Day leftists are once again cutting themselves off from friends and family and retreating from social media platforms that refuse to meticulously gate keep and censor an echo chamber where they can be safe from reality and opposition opinions. They’re retreating back to Reddit and fleeing to create a new platform to replace X (formerly twitter) on “Blue Sky”, which itself is just a Great Value Twitter where they can still ban anyone they don’t like. These online echo chambers are one of the largest contributors to this nation’s problems and division right now and should be challenged by all means both socially and legally.
We must demand that if these legacy media outlets are going to continue to exist, that they should represent the majority of this country instead of a small subset of radical left wingers and their views. Fortunately many of the legacy media outlets since the election are seeing their ratings crater and are rapidly getting this memo as I saw an article just the other day saying that ABC was panicking and seeking to find “conservative” personalities to place in their shows and MSNBC is likely going up for sale.
We must demand the our nation’s education system from grade school to the university level be dramatically overhauled and reformed. These institutions don’t exist to create the next generation of Marxist activists. They exist to educate our nation’s children and shape future leaders. Curriculums should be drastically changed and teachers who preach indoctrination instead of educate children should be fired. Universities that refuse to educate and open the minds of their students to a wide diversity of views, beliefs and cultures should be aggressively disincentivized with legislation and government action. The days of the University being an echo chamber and incubator of Marxism need to come to an end, quickly before they can do even more damage to the fabric of our nation.
The oppressive censorship network that sprang up post 2016 and then exploded in 2020 after being given government funding and direct access to our nations intelligence apparatus must be dismantled, it’s very foundations ripped up and then the earth it sat upon salted. Nations within the western sphere of influence must be told that if they continue to foster institutional censorship and they can’t reflect western values in respecting freedom of speech, religion and a wide diversity of views, cultures and lifestyles they will no longer be defended with American military power. We shouldn’t be offering up the treasure of American youth and the fruits of our labors to defend discount rainbow communist states.
The social media influencers, social media platforms and digital networks that created these cauldrons of leftist echo chambers must be utterly destroyed. If Alex Jones can be sued into oblivion for a billion dollars for upsetting Sandy Hook families the left wing social media influencers and social networks that created a national mental health crisis that drove people to suicide because Democrats lost an election should be made an example of just as the left sought to make examples of right wing personalities, networks and platforms for so much less. There should be no mercy for these people and businesses. They should know no peace. They themselves who so loudly cheered on the merciless lawfare attacks against the right to crush opposition to their narratives should spend the next decade facing litigation from the US government and the families of their victims left in the wake of these tragic decisions. Make no mistake, these young people who are ending their lives are victims of a cruel, callous and destructive system that was foisted on our nation by a group of ambitious and dangerous leftists who’s dream was total power over our nation. In pursuit of that goal they didn’t care what damage they did. They didn’t care if they psychologically damaged these young people and through psychological warfare foisted an alternate reality upon them. They certainly didn’t care that the day after Election Day these distraught young people took their own lives because they believed the bullshit they’d been sold. There must be accountability. This evil should be destroyed.
